the gooch family

     We are Jeremy and Jamie Gooch. Two people with a desire to serve our community well by providing trustworthy products directly from our farm. Jeremy grew up in the city of Bryan/College Station. He has always had a passion to serve his community through his career choice as a law enforcement officer and in his personal life. His paternal Grandfather was also a cattle farmer, so it has always been in Jeremy’s blood to be a great farmer.  

     Jamie grew up in the small town of Rogers, Tx, where the local church that her family attended was always hosting potlucks. It is there that she observed how good food brought people of all backgrounds and ages together around a table. Jamie loves people with her cooking and serving. We started the farm in 2015. 

     We lived in a neighborhood in town at the time and started by leasing land to grow our cattle on. We had been dreaming of a “simpler” way of life, for us and our growing children to be more connected to where our food comes from and the beauty of nature.

     Our dream would later lead us, our 2 boys, and a baby girl on the way to a beautiful piece of land in Troy, Tx December of 2016. It is here that we really began gaining knowledge, appreciation, and control of exactly how our animals are being cared for and fed from start to finish. It’s always been a hope that we would someday have a location where our community could come shop directly from our farm.
